Under the general supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, manages and directs a sales force within several terminal or state locations.
Responsibilities
  • Manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a district (or several city or state locations).
  • Provides leadership, support, and guidance and accomplishes specific goals and business objectives.
  • Designs and recommends sales and marketing programs.
  • Sets short and long term sales strategies.
  • May coordinate with the regional sales manager to insure uniformity of performance.
  • Identifies situations requiring effective negotiation
  • Develops key or named accounts.
  • Maintains positive client relationships.
  • Interacts between other departments such as Linehaul, Pricing, Operations, etc.
  • Performs other related duties, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Equivalent to Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent
  • 5 years of sales experience, including LTL transportation
  • Sustained record of sales achievement.
  • Excellent communication skills and networking abilities.

Salary Range: $112,460.00 - $140,576.00 annually, based on experience. This position is bonus eligible.
